Melody has a naive personality, which helps her to make friends and she loves to make new friends. She is very kind. Just like her father Melody is very calm and very quiet. Even though she likes to make friends, Melody is seen alone most of the time.
Melody is very smart as well, and is found most of her time reading something.

Bio:

Melody the daughter from the world wide known Bounty hunter with Bling and champion of the Iron fist torunament 6, Bob Richards. And the leader of the Pro-enviromentalists Julia Chang. She was born in the same indian tribe that Julia was raised by.

Due to some problems during the childbirth (Julia got really sick with really high fevers and she almost lost counscious too) Melody was born deaf, which luckily was discovered in her very early months of life. However they didn't have anyone to run to find a solution for Melody's deafness.

One day Julia sees on an international newspaper the story of a so called doctor created a device that worked quite different from the other usual hearing devices. Immediately they sent Melody's case to the doctor and he quickly sends an answer happily taking the request from Bob and Julia. The doctor was called Genya Arikado. The surgery was a total success and Melody started to listen perfectly!
Though she had to learn the signals speech in case anything went wrong and she could be able to communicate with others. Melody from an early age began her fighting trainning and she quickly gets a really nice fighter. Melody was raised in the tribe's beliefs (Mother's side) But she grown up in really busy cities. And she spent a lot of time with her father.

Her parent's were always worried about her which was one of the main reasons that she could barely go outside of her house. Once she completed 18 years old she felt that it was her turn to try the King of the iron fist torunament. Her parents were extremely against this choice but in the end the let her go.
